Cookie Policy

Last updated April 30, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Tjamigo uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (tjamigo.com) and in connection with our mobile application. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes more broadly how we handle your personal data.

The Services are operated by Martin Nordström, based in Stockholm, Sweden. You can contact us at any time at tjamigo.app@gmail.com.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners.

We also use similar technologies — such as local storage and session storage — that work in much the same way. In this notice, "cookies" refers to all of these technologies unless we say otherwise.

Cookies set directly by us are called "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by other companies whose services we use (such as Google Analytics) are called "third-party" cookies.

2. WHAT COOKIES DO WE USE?

We use a small number of cookies, grouped into two categories:

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you, such as signing in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block these cookies, but parts of the website may then not work.

- Firebase Authentication (provider: Google). Used to keep you signed in to your account. Stored in browser local storage. Persistent until you sign out or clear browser data.

- Vercel platform cookies (provider: Vercel). Used by our hosting provider for routing requests and basic security. Typically session-based.

Analytics cookies (set only with your consent)

These cookies help us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. They are placed only where consent is required and given. We do not link analytics events to identifiable user accounts.

- _ga, _ga_* (provider: Google Analytics). Used to distinguish unique users and track aggregated usage. IP anonymisation is enabled. Persistent for up to 14 months.

We do not use cookies for advertising or for tracking you across other websites. We do not sell or share data collected through cookies with advertising networks.

3. HOW CAN YOU CONTROL COOKIES?

You have several options for controlling cookies:

- Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. You can also set your browser to block cookies from specific sites or all sites. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will affect your ability to use the Services.

- Google Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

For browser-specific instructions, please see the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, or your preferred browser.

4. COOKIES IN OUR MOBILE APPLICATION

Our mobile application does not use traditional browser cookies. Instead, it uses equivalent local storage on your device for the same purposes (keeping you signed in, remembering preferences). You can clear this data at any time by deleting the app from your device or by signing out and clearing the app's data through your device settings.

5. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will tell you when changes were made. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
